Update March 2022 Billie Jean has made some amazing progress in training, but she just has a lot of walls and previous baggage that will take a lot of time than what the challenge perimeters allow. After much discussion with her trainer Daniel, we determined that Billie Jean is at the best place possible. She trusts him, allows him to catch her in the pasture, trim her feet, etc., things that couldn't be accomplished here. We all agreed that it was best for Daniel to pick a different horse and not push Billie Jean. The added good news is, her trainer decided to adopt her and give her as much time as she possibly needs, without ever being rushed. She gets to stay where she is comfortable and trusts her family. We are thrilled that this truly worked out for the best for Billie Jean. You can still watch Daniel Scavone in our Trainer Challenge event with Team Newman.
Billie Jean has been adopted to a wonderful family in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Billie Jean is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, loving family she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
